With many major events sadly and understandably cancelled this year, we wanted to share with you what’s new for the in-vehicle experience.
Watch how advancements in connectivity software are set to greatly enrich the experience for drivers and passengers alike, across various transportation scenarios.

If you’re new to VNC Automotive and the solutions we offer for the vehicles of tomorrow, or if you had planned to meet with us at MWC20, watch the quick demo showcase below. All videos were shot when we caught up with our exhibition stand behind closed doors, early last month.

Now, let’s jump to what our engineers have been working on since we saw you last. First up is Cobalt Share for multimedia and productivity. Targeting Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) screens and bring your own device (BYOD) scenarios this is one for auto OEMs wishing to greatly enhance the in-vehicle experience for passengers.
Of Cobalt Share, which was set to launch at MWC20, our CEO Tom Blackie says:
“In an industry where vehicles are becoming increasingly autonomous, our solutions enable transportation time to be more entertaining, productive and efficient than ever. Cobalt Share is a prime example of how we continue to push the boundaries of technology available today, to enable the vehicles of tomorrow. Cobalt Share has been extremely well received by the industry and we are seeing a huge increase in RSE centric projects.”
Next stop is Cobalt Link+ which is all about providing instantaneous, safe and secure access to smartphone, tablet or personal device content, from the desired vehicle screen. A modular approach has been taken in this demo, curating content from various devices across a big landscape display.
Then there is Cobalt Remote, which enables a connection between the car and the Cloud and vice versa. Via secure remote operator access to vehicle screens, systems and telematics this demo simulates a fleet management scenario. In real time remote operators can access the HMI, location and diagnostic information of their fleet.
